1) Make sure your antivirus is completely disabled.
2) Extract the compressed files using WinRar software and mount the resulting ISO file using Daemon Tools.
3) Proceed with the game installation.
4) Replace the files in the CODEX folder with the files in the game installation location.

1) During installation, make sure your antivirus is completely disabled, you have enough space on your hard drive and RAM, and be patient (!) to install the compressed version. At the beginning of the installation, uncheck the additional options "Update DirectX", other languages except English, and different versions of C++ (if you have not downloaded them). Note that it is recommended to install all 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Visual C++ from 2005 to 2015 on your system to avoid any problems.
