Each of the main characters in No Straight Roads, who are like bass players, have fully thought-out character designs and each represents problems that the music industry creates for artists. For example, one of these characters is a child prodigy pianist who has undergone excessive parental pressure, indicating parents who pass their own failures and helplessness to their children, and show no concern about the mental stress this causes. No Straight Roads is full of such references that technically make it a bitter game but still maintains a unique sense of humor.

After examining the strongest part of No Straight Roads, we come to the weakest part, namely gameplay. Despite attempts to combine Beat 'em Up and rhythm game elements, the number of poor design choices in different parts has resulted in a gameplay experience that is never engaging. As someone who has fundamental problems with rhythm games, I appreciate the creators not including rapid-button mashing and unnecessary actions like this in their product, but the one-on-one battles are unfortunately not as polished as they should be.
