Guide for using the file unlocker for the two additional packs Platinum Car Pack and Speedcross DLC:
1) Make sure your antivirus software is disabled. Extract the file unlocker.
2) Copy and replace the contents of folder 1.Crack+Unlocker with the installation directory of the game.
3) Go to the directory where game saves are stored. The default address is:
%userprofile%\Documents\Need for Speed(TM) Payback
Make sure to delete the original saves made by the game to avoid any issues.
4) Replace the save files in folder 2.SaveGame.Files with the game's original files. This save file is 0% complete and is only for activating additional packs.
5) Run the game.

This problem has many reasons, and following all of them is necessary to resolve the issue. In the order of:
1) NVIDIA card users should note that in the NVIDIA control panel, section manage 3D settings, the FXAA option should be set to off, and then run the game. You can also perform this change globally or add it to the game's executable file.
2) Enable the Vsync option to On.
3) Make sure you are using the latest version of your graphics card. Get the latest version of NVIDIA's graphics card from here and AMD's from here.
4) Make sure your system meets the minimum system requirements. If your system is slightly lower, you will not be able to run the game.
5) Make sure you are using the latest Windows 10 update, which can be downloaded from here. Other versions of Windows are not recommended on this site.
6) Make sure your data is completely healthy and matching the CPY version. You can use the SFV file available here to check your files. You will need software such as QuickSFV to use SFV files.
7) It is highly recommended to install the game in the drive where your Windows is installed (usually C). Take this note seriously!
